Estudiantes Extranjeros

Los estudiantes y las estudiantes de la Unión Europea o países con convenio que cumplan con los requisitos exigidos en su país de origen para acceder a la Universidad, así como para estudiantes en posesión del título de Bachillerato Europeo o del diploma de Bachillerato Internacional, podrán solicitar a la UNED una ACREDITACIÓN que podrá contener entre otros datos la siguiente información:

• Sistema educativo o procedencia.
• Tipo de estudios realizados.
• Verificación del cumplimiento de los requisitos de acceso a la Universidad en el país de origen.
• Transposición a escala española de calificaciones finales obtenidas en los sistemas educativos de origen con calificación entre 5 y 10 puntos. En el caso de que no sea posible establecer una calificación, pero sí se reconozca el requisito de acceso a la Universidad en el país de origen, la calificación será de 5 puntos.
• Establecimiento de equivalencias entre las asignaturas cursadas por estudiantes en los sistemas educativos de origen y las modalidades de bachillerato español, en relación con la titulación elegida.
• Transposición a escala numérica española de las calificaciones obtenidas en materias concretas de su expediente académico, en donde se indicará si dicha calificación proviene de una prueba externa.
• Resultados obtenidos en las pruebas de competencias específicas realizadas en la UNED.
• Acreditación de competencias en idiomas.

Prospective students from EU member states or from any other country with which Spain has signed international educational agreements and who meet the requirements of their country of origin to access university, as well as students in possession of the European Baccalaureate or the International Baccalaureate diploma, may apply to the UNED (National Distance Education University) for an ACCREDITATION. The application must include the following information, among others:

• The student’s home country education system
• Studies completed abroad
• Verification of requirements for admission to university in the country of origin.
• Conversion of the final grades obtained in their home education system to the Spanish grading scale, resulting in a grade from 5 to 10. If grade conversion is not possible, but the student meets the aforementioned university admission requirements in his/her country of origin, the student will obtain a grade of 5.
• Determination of equivalencies between the subjects taken by students in their home education system and the modalities of the Spanish baccalaureate, in relation to the desired university degree.
• Conversion to the Spanish numerical scale of the grades obtained in specific subjects of their academic record, indicating if that grade comes from an external test.
• Results obtained in the Specific Competency Exams (PCE) taken in the UNED.
• Certification of language skills.

1. La UNED podrá expedir una acreditación para estudiantes de sistemas educativos extranjeros que cumplan los requisitos para obtener la homologación de sus estudios al bachillerato español, previa solicitud que podrá contener:
   • Sistema educativo de procedencia.
   • Tipo de estudios realizados.
   • Verificación del cumplimiento de los requisitos de acceso a la Universidad en España (homologación al título de bachiller español).
   • Cálculo de nota de acceso/admisión-UNED.
   • Establecimiento de modalidad de bachillerato según las pruebas de competencias específicas (PCE) realizadas y resultados obtenidos en dichas pruebas.
   • Acreditación de competencias en idiomas. 
2. Para obtener la homologación de estudios extranjeros por los correspondientes de Enseñanza Media será necesario presentar, por parte del interesado o de la interesada, en el Ministerio de Educación, Formación Profesional y Deportes antes de inscribirse en la PAU, la solicitud de homologación.

1. Prospective students from foreign education systems who meet the requirements to obtain the validation of their studies to the Spanish baccalaureate may apply to the UNED for an accreditation. The application must include the following information, among others:
   • The student’s home country education system
   • Studies completed abroad
   • Verification of requirements for admission to university in Spain (recognition as equivalent to the Spanish baccalaureate diploma).
   • Access/admission score calculation-UNED.
   • Determination of the modality of Spanish baccalaureate, according to the specific competency tests (PCE) taken and the results obtained in these tests
   • Certification of language skills.
2. In order to obtain the validation of foreign studies as equivalent to those of Secondary Education in Spanish, the student will need to apply for recognition to the Ministry of Education, Vocational Training and Sport before registering for the PAU. Nota: In any case, pre-enrolment is mandatory to access any studies at the public universities of Castilla y León: Burgos, León, Salamanca and Valladolid, within the deadlines established for all students.
